Tips for Organizing and Safely Storing Your Christmas Decorations

The first weekend after Christmas, my house starts to feel cluttered. Do you feel that way too, or is it just me? The holiday season may be over, but you still have to pack up all the decorations. And that’s no small task.
Taking down and storing decorations until next year can feel like the last stressful task of the season, but a few minutes to properly store your holiday decorations can set yourself up for an enjoyable unpacking experience as you welcome the holiday’s next year.

Buy bubble wrap to safely store all of my breakable holiday home decor. I didn’t do this last year and a few things did get damaged.
My plan this year was to put all of the breakables in one large tub and have them all safely wrapped up. Then they’re stored together snug and secure!
Bonus Money Saver Tip! Save the box from cases of beer or wine, and reuse them to store decorations. The dividers are well suited for protecting ornaments and other special items that could use the separation and padding. Egg cartons are also perfect, especially for smaller bulbs.
